I began yoga in my 20s but it was 15 years ago, as an active mother of three young children, when I really became hooked. I was starting to feel the wear and tear of midlife - yoga quickly helped me manage various aches and minor injuries and made me feel calmer - I loved it and started to explore different styles and teachers.
My initial British Wheel of Yoga 200 hrs training was with the Life Centre (Yoga Campus) in London. I have since completed further trainings with Judith Hanson Lasater and Lizzie Lasater (Restorative), and Petra Coveney (Menopause Yoga). I am currently working towards a further vinyasa-based 300 hour training with Jason Crandell (Yoga Alliance). I enjoy a varied mix of traditional hatha, vinyasa, slow flow and restorative styles myself, and bring different elements of these to my teaching.
I now teach people of all fitness levels, shapes, backgrounds, genders and ages. My aim is to help everyone find space and ease in their bodies and minds through yoga.
